Cody Kaneshiro

Founder/Lead Videographer

Cody Kaneshiro is the founder and lead videographer of Simple Love Stories. His journey as a storyteller began right after high school, starting with fun vlogs and silly YouTube videos. What began as a hobby quickly grew into a passion for filmmaking, giving him opportunities to collaborate with brands like Servco Hawai‘i, Aloha Kia, and local restaurants across the island.

In 2022, Cody filmed his very first wedding—and that’s when everything clicked. He fell in love with capturing the emotion, beauty, and authenticity of couples’ big days. Since then, his mission has been to connect with each couple and help tell their love story in the way they envision it.

When Cody isn’t behind the camera, he’s a true foodie, loves gaming, enjoys playing baseball, and treasures time spent with his girlfriend, Katelyn.

Alexander Wong

Lead Photographer

 Alexander Wong is the creative eye behind many of our most stunning visuals at Simple Love Stories. His passion for photography began in high school, and ever since, he has dedicated himself to capturing timeless, emotional moments through his lens.

Alex’s journey with photography took a meaningful turn when he reconnected with Cody, our founder, during their time at the Ka Leo O Hawai‘i student newspaper at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. Their shared experiences laid the foundation for the incredible teamwork that drives our brand today.

When he’s not behind the camera, Alex enjoys diving into K-Pop—his favorite group being Le Sserafim—unwinding with video games, or hitting the golf course. His unique blend of creativity, precision, and passion makes him an essential part of our storytelling team.

Landon Navarro

Photographer

Landon Navarro is one of our talented photographers here at Simple Love Stories, bringing passion and creativity to every shoot. His love for photography began in college, where he first discovered the joy of capturing meaningful moments—a passion that continues to inspire his work today.

Landon shares a special connection with Cody and Alex, having gone to the same high school, and now contributes his skills to help couples tell their love stories in the most beautiful way possible.

Outside of photography, Landon is full of ambition and creativity. He plans to take over his family’s electrician business in the future, but he also recently launched his own sushi and sashimi business, The Umami Box. When he’s not working, you’ll likely find him enjoying golf, playing pickleball, or crafting unforgettable culinary experiences.

Jenise Lam

Videographer

Jenise Lam is a talented videographer whose skill and creativity bring a cinematic touch to every project. She and Cody first met while briefly working with UH Productions at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and later reconnected at KITV, where they collaborated on numerous video projects.

Today, Jenise continues her role at KITV as the videographer and editor for Island Life Live. Her attention to detail and passion for visual storytelling make her an essential part of the Simple Love Stories team.
